The workshop will take place at the Hospital Clinic of the University of Barcelona at walking distance from the hotel. For details on how to reach the venue, please click here.
Registration and accommodation
Only applicants who have been selected for participation will be able to attend the workshop. There is no registration fee and hotel accommodation for two nights (7-9 November, including breakfast) is arranged by ECNP in a shared room at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante.
Registration will take place on Wednesday 7 November 2018 from 14.30-15.00.
On Wednesday a welcome dinner and on Thursday a lunch will be organised. All other meals are at the participant’s own expense.
Participants have to arrange and cover their own travel to and from Barcelona, Spain.
Passport and visa information
A valid passport is required for entry into Spain. Visas may be required for some countries.
For specific information, please contact the Spanish embassy as soon as possible.
If a letter of invitation is required for the purpose of obtaining a visa, please send an e-mail to the ECNP Office.
It is highly recommended that all participants carry proper individual travel and health insurance.
CDE travel subsidy
Selected participants, resident in a European country with a developing economy (CDE*), can apply for a CDE travel subsidy. This subsidy supports travel expenses for the workshop.
If you wish to apply for a CDE travel subsidy please send us an e-mail no later than 15 July 2018.
*CDE-countries within Europe are: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia-FYR, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.

Participants will have to be present at all sessions, from Wednesday afternoon until the end of the last session on Friday.
Certificate of attendance
A certificate of attendance will be emailed to all participants after the conclusion of the workshop.
The official language will be English. No translation will be provided.
ECNP requests speakers and presenters to disclose potential conflicts of interest. This will allow the audience to take potential conflicts of interest into account when assessing the objectivity of the presentation.
Speakers and presenters are requested to disclose the potential conflicts of interest regarding their presentation in the first slide of their presentation.
Potential conflicts of interest can involve: grants, honoraria, shares, paid positions on advisory boards etc.
